Handmade in our Athens studio in Greece. The gold edit is made from 100% recycled silver 925 double plated with 18 and 24 karat gold. The silver edit is made from 100% recycled sterling silver.

Editor’s notes:
The ‘Forbidden Amphora’ charm with its heart shape is designed as a reminder of the last of the ordeals that goddess Aphrodite was inflicting on Psyche.
It is part of the Hope collection based on the Eros and Psyche’s myth. In this collection every piece narrates a different part of the myth unfolding therefore the storytelling and so Psyche had to bring back an amphora from the Underworld to Olympus, strictly forbidden to be opened. But Psyche’s curiosity got the better and no sooner had breathed in the terrible fumes that made her falling into a deathly sleep. – It symbolizes also the eternal connection of  the two young lovers as Eros, seeing Psyche lying motionless, rushed to her and touched her with the tip of his arrow to make sure she was not dead. It is told that this is a great emotional moment when Eros awaked the lifeless Psyche with a kiss.
Hope collection reminds us the ordeals that soul must undergo to achieve true love and happiness.
